South African Online ESL Teacher (Spanish Students)
At Online Math Academy, an international online education platform, we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Online ESL Teacher based in South Africa to deliver one-on-one English lessons to Spanish-speaking students.
This is a remote freelance opportunity with long-term potential, perfect for educators who are passionate about teaching languages in a flexible and personalized online environment.
✅ Candidate Profile
Degree or studies in English, Education, Linguistics, or related fields
Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), either online or in person
Strong command of English language skills (grammar, pronunciation, communication)
Ability to work with Spanish-speaking students (basic Spanish is a plus but not mandatory)
Comfortable using digital tools and online teaching platforms
Responsible, organized, and committed to student success
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain concepts clearly
✅ Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging one-on-one online ESL lessons
Adapt lessons according to each student’s level and learning objectives
Support students in improving their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Monitor student progress and provide continuous feedback
Offer personalized guidance and academic support
Participate in training sessions or academic meetings if required
Maintain a positive, professional, and motivating learning environment
